Natural Disaster Aid and Relief

E-mail Print PDF

The Red Star Society has provided aid and relief for working people who were victims of natural or human-made disasters in the U.S. since 2005. Beginning with our origins providing working people's aid and relief to survivors of hurricanes Katrina and Rita in Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas, the RSS has made providing assistance in such times a central focus of its work, not only in the United States, but anywhere in the world, as our recent efforts in collecting funds for workers' aid and relief to Haiti attest. From collecting much-needed funds to purchase supplies to accepting donations of food, water and clothing to pass on to our brothers and sisters, the Red Star Society has endeavored to help those who receive little or no help from the traditional aid and relief charities.
